The German Shepherd Dog is one of the most versatile and well-known breeds in the world. We know them as brave, loyal police dogs and as smart, vigilant companions for people with physical disabilities. Few breeds are able to combine so much intelligence, loyalty, beauty, and dignity into one.

However, being highly intelligent and energetic, this relatively large dog is not the ideal breed for everyone. At Mit Liebe (” with love” ) GSD Rescue, we care for dogs that come to us through a variety of avenues: owner surrenders, strays, and local animal shelters and humane societies. We are dedicated to providing a second chance to purebred German Shepherds through rehabilitation and adoption. We strive to match dogs with owners who will love them as much as we do — more so if possible!
