On Sunday we took in a 9 month old female from a shelter in Milwaukee, she is small, 41 pounds, cute as a button, and very verbal, so I named her Gabbie. She was spayed on Tuesday and on Thursday she went to her foster home near Milwaukee. Cassidy and her loved to play together, for the short time before Gabbie’s surgery. Cassidy loves to play in the snow, she tosses her squeaker ball (well they used to squeak) and chases after it, then kicks it with her foot then chases it, then she lays down in the snow. Even with the below zero days we have had. brrrrrrr. she just loves to play. I have to really coax her to get her to come inside. I give her freedom to run with her leash dragging. I have to hide behind the corner of the building and she comes looking for me. Tooooo cold for me….
Paul (my hubby) had a cold last week, still has it. Well I have it now, darn I had to kiss him. He has a cough now…. and what did I do? I drank out of his water bottle……I was thirsty. Oh well, this too shall pass.
Have I mentioned that Harry is in a foster home? A very nice young man, who, a couple us think that this is going to be a ‘Foster Failure” We will find out on Friday when Harry’s foster time is up.
I can’t think of much more right now….I am going on the couch and cover up with a quilt. Give your furkids a nice warm hug.
Here are a couple more updates. Isn’t it great to hear from the adopters?
Hi Anita,
I talked to Deb this afternoon and she just LOVES Eva. things are going good. Eva loves the kids and they love her back 100%. She waits for them to come home and then Deb says…She (Deb) is chopped liver cuz Eva wants to play with the kids.
Another success story for “forever homes for Mit Liebe.

AND………………………………………
Sorry I haven’t kept in touch but we have been really busy!! Omni is doing Awesome!! He fits in so well, it’s like we have always had him!! He loves our 4 grandchildren!! He is so gentle with them it’s like he knows that they are little people.
Wendy, we were unable to kennel train him. He can also break out of a hard shell kennel! He loves to nap in it, just don’t close the door. It really isn’t a problem because he is such a good boy! He doesn’t mess with anything he isn’t supposed to. I think having his sister Daisy helps!
As you can see by the pictures he LOVES the snow and his Kong frisbee!! He loves being outside and Bryan has him out a lot! We fenced in the whole backyard, so he has plenty of room to run which he loves to do!!
I would like to thank you again for letting us adopt this Big, Sweet, Beautiful Boy!!
Sara
